As a real estate professional, my clients look to me for my insight into this unprecedented real estate market. Believe me, I am not walking around with my head in the clouds and I am reminded everyday that we are in the midst of extremely difficult times, uncertainty, and fear. If I spend too much time these days listening to the news or talk radio, I’m pretty sure my mind would center on the negative and I would lose focus on what is important, and that is confidently serving my clients. This market isn’t for the fainthearted or amateur with a real estate license, this is a professional’s market.
And, yes, real-estate owned properties fuel my business right now, whether I am representing the bank, or my buyer client looking for a bargain. Confidence in this business is key. Clients ask….Do I believe this is a good time to buy? Do I believe in the value of real estate? My reply is “if I didn’t believe, I can’t ask you to believe.” Is buying a bank-owned property right for me? Only if you go into it 100% educated, informed, qualified, and work with a real estate professional. The best compliments I’ve received are from my buyer clients who said they were confident in my ability and knowledge, and in turn, they were confident in their purchase.
Can I confidently advise my clients there are deals to be made in this market? Yes, I can.

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009This billboard is next to the Beverly Center when I recently spent the weekend in L.A. I was shocked when I saw that a realtor would do this so I wrote down his web address.
I later found out that it was a spoof for a movie coming out where Paul Rudd plays a realtor called “I Love You, MAN”
I’m just glad that Peter isn’t a REAL realtor and I can’t wait to see the movie, it will be hilarious!
